The site

The site is well located for residential development and the principle has been established with the granting of planning permission in 2014. The site also forms part of a larger Local Plan allocation under policy B2, which allocates the site and land to the north of Turweston Road for residential development alongside ancillary uses.

The site comprises approximately 13.69 hectares of land on the eastern edge of Brackley; between the existing established edge of the town and the A43. It is bounded to the east by the A43, to the north by Turweston Road and to the west by the Top Station Road Industrial Estate and the disused railway embankment.

With its close links to Brackley town centre, the site benefits from sustainable transport links and good accessibility to a range of services and facilities for future residents of the site.

Importantly, the development will form a natural extension to the existing settlement of Brackley providing much-needed local housing, including affordable homes which will be managed by Peabody Housing Association in perpetuity.
